Automation International Inc. was established in 1991, merging Three well-known Companies in the welding and machine automation industry.

• Berkeley-Davis Co. Since 1942 a leader in the automated arc welding machinery industry for all processes.
• FEDERAL Welder and Machine Co. Circa 1917 One of the earliest resistance welder manufacturers in the U.S. for all resistance welders.
• Swift-Ohio Welder Co. Ohio Machine Tool Circa 1887 and The Swift Electric Welder circa 1925. A leader in the supply of both forming, arc and resistance welding equipment and the manufacture of wheel producing equipment.

Three Companies now under Automation International, Inc. We utilize the knowledge and experience of this continuous heritage to supply globally, welding and automation equipment to the metal working industry.

Automation International is a full engineering and manufacturing facility that designs and produces a variety of completely automated, flexible welding systems. These state-of-the-art systems are custom designed to handle specified customer requirements and production rates incorporating arc and resistance welding stations, assembly operations, automatic part handling and other applications. We back our equipment with complete training and commissioning of equipment with a full department of service technicians including technical service for older equipment.
